100 Ton Station Ice House

This kit represents the smaller ice houses that were found in numerous locations along both standard and narrow gauge tracks.  These were intended for supplying ice for domestic use such as water coolers in stations, passenger cars, cabooses, section towns, work trains, and other similar uses along the right-of-way.  Can be built with or without clerestory.  The building can be removed from the timber foundation for layout maintenance, and comes with stainable real wood shingles.  HO building is 3" x 6".
